Upcoming Opportunities:

Canine Adoption at PetSmart in Hilliard (5336 Westpointe Dr) on Saturday 11/15 from 12-2pm.

Gift wrapping with Barnes & Noble in Pickerington for December.  We are scheduled for Sunday 12/21 from 9am - 9pm and X-mas Eve 12/24 9am - 2pm.  We need at least 2 volunteers to "woman" the table.  It would be great if we could get 1 extra person to stand out at the check out to let everyone know that we are wrapping books.

Photos with Santa at Petsmart.  We have to do both Saturday and Sunday of 1 weekend in December.  This is still in the works.  Check back often for updated information.  We will have to have a minimum of 3 volunteers.  1 for Santa, 1 for photographer and 1 to print the photos.

**Currently, we need foster homes for Bubba and Sam. Their pictures are on the Available Pets tab.

NBAS has several on-going opportunities. We hope you will join us in making a difference in the lives of some wonderful pets.

Capital Campaign Coordinator- Volunteer: We are currently seeking an individual to coordinator a capital campaign for a new animal shelter in the corners of Franklin and Fairfield Counties. We are a no-kill rescue group that currently fosters out of our homes to help dogs and cats in need of medical care and finding a forever home. Our dream is to build an adoption center along with a low cost spay/neuter clinic. This position will have a committee to help with asking for donations. This is a Board position. Board meetings are once every quarter and on an as needed basis.

Feline Adoption Coordinator: Coordinate adoption venues to help our rescues find permanent loving homes. Frequent adoption updates to President.

Feline Foster Coordinator: Review potential foster home applications, meet with applicant to review policies and procedures. Match foster homes with feline in-takes. Touch base with fosters to ensure that they have the food, litter and medical care needed for the felines.

Foster Homes for Animals: We are in desperate need of foster homes for puppies and cats. The organization will provide medical, food and litter. You provide the TLC and transportation to the vet when needed. These pets need the love of a temporary home while they wait for their permanent a forever family!! Please can you help us help them?

Fundraising Committee Volunteers: Individuals will assist Fundraising Director with creating ideas for fundraising events, "manning" tables at events. posting fliers to advertise events. Volunteers can bake or donate crafts for bake sales and craft sales. Volunteers can assist with dog/ car washes, yard sales or other events.

Fundraising Event Volunteers: Help with bake sales, garage sales, auctions, dog washes, pet pictures, or any event to raise money for the animals and fund the shelter. Volunteers are also needed to hang flyers in local businesses and get the word out about the event.
