Handsome
Hi I'm Handsome. My sister
and I came to New Beginnings as stray kittens over two years
ago. We were adopted and had a great home until our mom
decided she was moving into an apartment that didn't allow
us to live there. So I'm back with my foster mom. I'm still
looking for a "forever" home. And if I come and live with
you, can I bring some fuzzy mice with me. I love to play
fetch. |
Monica
Hi I'm Monica. I was rescued
from a field where I was living by myself in a barn. You can
just imagine the critters that were living on me! Well lucky
for me, a volunteer with New Beginnings found me and took me
to a place where they poked me and got rid of the critters.
I'm a spoiled cat now with lots of toys and a thing they
call a "kittie condo". It is so cool, you should see it. But
one thing is still missing, my forever home. Can I go home
with you? Do you have a "kittie condo"? |
Abbie
My
sister Annie and I started our lives on a hot day last
summer. We were 10 days when I lady found us and put us on
the front step of a daycare center.
The director immediately called New Beginnings to see if
they could help. We needed some food, you know? After a
couple of bottles and two flea baths, we took a long nap. We
have been happy but we are still looking for our forever
home. |

Theo
Hi I'm Theo. I
was found by a stream wondering around all by myself. I was
more than hungry but a nice lady picked me up and took me to
a place that had lots of food and friends to play with.
There is a red laser pointer that all of us chase and have a
lot of fun. But I still need to find my forever home. Do you
have a place in your heart for me? |

Simba
Simba is a wonderful
girl. She's about a year old and was found in the
backyard of her foster mommy's house. She went on to
have 5 babies in the house; Trinkett and Gordo are
her two remaining children looking for forever
homes. Simba has learned to be playful and loving
through her foster parents and by playing with her
babies over the last 6 months, she's gotten very
healthy too, as she was very starved and shy when
she was found. She's great with kids, other cats and
dogs too! |

Gordo
Gordo is Trinkett's big
brother, and we mean BIG. We guess he was the first born by
how large he is. He grew faster than any of his 4 other
siblings, and has matured into a wonderful boy. He was very
shy, still is a little around new people, but once he knows
he's safe and can be himself, he'll come right around. Like
Trinkett, he's got beautiful markings on him, and he just
loves to play with his foster brother, a very large dog! He
also gets along well with the other kitties in the house. We
hope that you can give him a loving forever home too! Its
not a must, but Trinkett and Gordo are VERY close to one
another, so they would love to stay together if you have
room in your home and heart for them both!

Trinkett
Trinkett is Simba's
remaining daughter. We can't say enough about little
Trinkett, or Trink-Trink as her foster mommy calls
her, and she will answer to this nick-name! She is
just beautiful, loving as could be, and just a tiny
little girl, which is how she got her name, being so
demure. If you hold her in just about any position,
she'll fall asleep in your hands or arms. She of
course LOVES to play being just a baby still. She
and her brother Gordo were born on July 4th, 2004.
She loves dogs, and is very curious about other
cats, she gets along just great with her foster
sister and brothers ( including a large dog and a 6
year old human boy!) Trinkett would make a
wonderful addition to a loving home!

Gremlin
Gremlin was found on a corner
looking at the light waiting to cross. A humane officer saw
her and picked her up. Gremlin is a princess and very
sensitive. When she came to NBAS, she would lay across her
plate and growl like a Gremlin.

Annie
My name is Annie. Would you
believe Abbie and I are sisters? I know, we don't look
anything alike. A daycare Director found us on her porch
when we were just 10 days old. Now you talk about hungry?
But the Director called New Beginnings and we went to a
great home with a bunch of other kittens just like us. We
had to be fed every 2 hours! These days everything is ok
except we need to find our forever home. It takes me a long
time to warm up to someone but when I feel I can trust you,
I'm a loyal companion. Can you give me the time I need to
feel comfortable in your home forever?

Plaza
Plaza
was found in the dumpster at the University Plaza Hotel. She was eating scrambled eggs and
biscuits. She was just 3 weeks old
when she was rescued. Now she loves
kitten food and is growing strong.
She is a sweet quiet little girl.
Plaza would adapt best to a new home without any children. |

Vinnie
Vinnie
was rescued by a nice lady who saved him from some mean boys. She took him into Pet People in Pickerington
and surrendered him to NBAS. Vinnie
was given lots of love and fed lots of nutritional meals. He is now a healthy happy little guy who
loves to take his "cat nap" right on your lap. |

Fitter
Fitter, that's my name! My
mom had us in one of the out buildings at Columbia Gas. When
I was rescued there were fitters everywhere. They helped me
to almost escape. But now I'm happy cuz' I'm one of the
lucky ones. I don't have to hunt for food anymore. It just
comes in a bowl! I love people, dogs and other cats. Oh and
I love to play. So can I come and hang out with you?

Grace
Hi I'm Grace. My
foster mom says I'm not very graceful. In fact, she
says I'm a tomboy. I was found in a pet store where
someone had just left me. I guess they knew there
would be pet friendly people there. But I'm in a
foster home now with some big cats and some kittens.
We all have a great time but I'm ready have a family
of my own. DOB: 3/2/05 |
